Explore the wild coastlines of Baffin Bay and the mythical region of Thule, at the heart of the Far North. As you sail along, you will discover spectacular polar landscapes, including mountains shaped by glaciers, broken-up ice floes and brash ice, and endless tundra where you could be lucky enough to spot polar bears. Not to mention the majestic, UNESCO-listed Disko Bay, renowned for the largest icebergs in the Northern Hemisphere. But the essence of this journey lies in meeting the Inuit communities of Greenland and Canada and experiencing authentic, unforgettable moments as they share with you their ancestral way of life, underpinned by resilience and wisdom. 

We are privileged guests in these remote lands where we are at the mercy of weather, ice, tidal and current conditions. Landings on certain sites and the observation of certain wildlife cannot be guaranteed. They vary from day to day, making each PONANT cruise a unique experience. The Captain and the Expedition Leader will make every effort to ensure that your experience is as rich as possible, while complying with the safety rules and instructions imposed by the AECO.
