Seward to Vancouver

Glittering Resurrection Bay in Seward is the starting point for this voyage, which travels southwards down the dramatic west coast of Alaska and Canada. Have your cameras ready as we cruise past the awe-inspiring Hubbard Glacier, where colossal ice chunks calve into the sea. Then it's on to Juneau, the capital, where you should keep your eyes peeled for whales, bears, and eagles – this is prime wildlife-watching territory. In Wrangell, see 8,000-year-old rock carvings at the home of the Tlingit people, while Klawock, another Tlingit settlement, is the gateway to the aptly named Misty Fjords National Park. In Ketchikan, admire the houses built on stilts and see the world's largest collection of 19th-century totem poles. Finally, we enter Canadian waters, following the breathtaking Seymour Narrows – part of the famed Inside Passage – down to Vancouver, where our journey ends.
