In the Footsteps of Shackleton

Join us on this 28-night journey tracing the steps of famous polar explorers of the past such as Shackelton and Scott as we explore the remote Antarctic region.

We begin our journey with 3 nights in Hobart, plenty of time to explore the southern most capital city of Australia. We have included a day trip to MONA Hobart (Museum of Old and New Art) during our stay where we will enjoy lunch and take in the beautiful surroundings of the area. The following day we will travel out of the city to Frogmore Creek Winery, one of the best wineries in Tasmania, for lunch.

On the 6th of January we board Crystal Endeavor to embark on a journey few get to experience. Exploring in all-suite, all-verandah comfort with a mere 200 guests, Crystal Endeavor is the epitome of luxury expedition. You will be hosted by Crystal’s award-winning staff, attentive butlers, and team of expedition and destination experts. Prepare for unrivaled discovery.

An awe-inspiring adventure awaits as we journey through the Ross Sea and Balleny Islands following a route to Antarctica that few have ever experienced; discover a world of visual splendor filled with iceberg prisms, glaciers and historic explorers' huts.

Our expedition ends in Dunedin where we will be transferred by helicopter to Blanket Bay, a Relais & Chateaux property, where we will spend 3 relaxing nights. Set on the shores of Lake Wakatipu amidst the rugged snow capped peaks of the Southern Alps. Blanket Bay is where relaxation and adventure meets luxury accommodation, unparalleled service and five star facilities.

We do hope you can join us.
