    After breakfast, we'll transfer to the airport for your onward flight to Sri Lanka's bustling capital of Colombo. On arrival, you'll be met and transferred to Ceylon Tea Trails by private float plane & helicopter, reducing the 5 hour drive to a 30 minute flight. Tea Trails is the world’s first tea bungalow resort perched at an altitude of 1250 meters in Sri Lanka’s panoramic Ceylon tea region and owned by the world famous Dilmah family.

    Join a private Tea Experience on site with the Resident Dilmah Tea Planter who will demonstrate the age-old tea making process from picking in the fields to processing. Here you can also savour a taste of their brew. No activities are planned for the afternoon however, you may take a walk through the tea plantation, kayak on the lake or just sit back and enjoy the views. This evening, a surprise welcome dinner awaits.

    Today we board our private float planes & helicopter and fly to Resplendent Ceylon’s latest creation - the Wild Coast Tented Lodge. Adjacent to the world famous Yala National Park, the lodge is renowned for its dense leopard population. A nature-lover's paradise, this spectacular luxury tented camp is in a stunning location overlooking the blue waters of the Indian Ocean.

    Board our float planes and helicopter once again and fly to Sri Lanka's southern coastline. We’ll be staying at Cape Weligama, an all-inclusive Relais & Chateaux property and one of our favorites.     Today you have options; relax by one of the cliff top pools, relax in your suite or take a tour of Galle, a city on the southwest coast of Sri Lanka, known for Galle Fortm, the fortified old city founded by Portuguese colonists in the 16th century. Stone sea walls, expanded by the Dutch, encircle car-free streets with architecture reflecting Portuguese, Dutch and British rule. Notable buildings include the 18th-century Dutch Reformed Church. Galle Lighthouse stands on the fort’s southeast tip. There are some great boutique shops as well!

    Today, we'll board our float planes & helicopter and fly to Colombo where we’ll stay at the historic Galle Face hotel, an iconic landmark and one of the oldest hotels east of the Suez. No visit to Sri Lanka is complete without staying at this majestic hotel, built in 1864 and recently restored back to its former glory. Tonight, a surprise farewell dinner awaits.
