Day 17 Greater Kruger Region - Johannesburg, South Africa

Today you will leave the African bush behind, and your driver will take you to Hoedspruit Airport for your flight to Johannesburg. At arrival, you will be welcomed by your friendly guide who will escort you to Soweto. Soweto, short for South Western Townships, is one of South Africa's most iconic and vibrant neighborhoods, located just outside Johannesburg. Rich in history and culture, it was once home to many of the country's most influential figures, including Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu. This afternoon, you will explore Soweto by Tuk Tuk and experience the vibrant streets of the township and see famous historical sites. After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel in Johannesburg for an evening at leisure.
