Day 7 Sandakan (Sabah), Malaysia

Despite its picture-perfect beaches and its turquoise seas, Sandakan's proximity to the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre makes it a must-visit destination for nature enthusiasts and wildlife lovers. The rehabilitation center offers the opportunity to witness and support crucial conservation of these gentle giants while experiencing the natural wonders of Borneo. Located within a lush rainforest setting, the center provides a semi-wild environment for these magnificent creatures to relearn essential survival skills. As to be expected on a tropical island, the surrounding area teams with natural wonders. The Kinabatangan River is a perfect place to spot proboscis monkeys, pygmy elephants, and various bird species, while the surrounding Sulu Sea is known for its vibrant coral reefs and diverse marine life. However, if you are more of a historian than a wildlife expert, note that Sandakan played a crucial role in Malaysia's history as an important trading port during British colonial rule. The city has a poignant historical connection with World War II, notably the Sandakan Death Marches, a tragic chapter in which prisoners of war endured forced marches and harsh conditions.

Day 8 Puerto Princesa, Philippines

Enter the subterranean world of Puerto Princesa's Underground River - a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Natural Wonders located in the Philippines - surrounded by ethereal rock formations and lush forest where monkeys and monitors casually greet guests. The Palawan capital is also a bustling gateway to El Nido and the breathtaking Bacuit Archipelago, surrounded by limestone cliffs and soaked in sunshine.

Day 9 Boracay, Philippines

The island of Boracay is the perfect place for those who want to spend time relaxing amid stunning scenery. Apart from its beautiful beaches and outstanding nature, there's also the opportunity to learn about local culture by visiting the Motag Living Museum and enjoying the vibrant nightlife.

Day 10 Manila, Philippines

Set amid the forest-green splendour of Luzon Island is bustling Manila, the second largest city in Southeast Asia, with its towering skyscrapers and remarkable joie de vivre. Yet amid the big-city excitement are oases of calm: lush tropical parks, magnificent cathedrals and dramatic Spanish forts. North of the city, mountains beckon with their spectacular rice terraces, while across Manila Bay stands Mount Mariveles, a dormant volcano studded with scenic hiking trails.

Day 11 Manila, Philippines

Day 12 Day at sea

Day 13 Nha Trang, Vietnam

It's said the legendary sea explorer Jacques Cousteau discovered his passion for diving off these shores, so you must be on to a good thing. With about 25 dive sites in the area, this is the scuba capital of Vietnam - and anyone from total novices to experienced old hands can take the plunge. Nha Trang is also known for its buzzing beach life and island-hopping excursions, but it's worth wandering away from the coast. Join local devotees at the mosaic-tiled Long Son Pagoda, with it's dazzling-white giant Buddha, and the 7th-century Cham towers glowing golden on a hillside.

Day 14 Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Ho Chi Minh City, known universally and affectionately by residents as Saigon, offers a glimpse into Vietnam's eventful past and its hopeful future. The city has a prosperous air of thriving activity, as rice boats float down the waterways and streets bustle with flavourful markets. Explore the sacred temples, French colonial buildings, and vestiges of pivotal events.

Day 15 Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Day 16 Day at sea

Day 17 Singapore

Singapore is a vibrant and multicultural city-state located in Southeast Asia, famous for its architectural style, foodie culture, and hawker markets. Singapore's history is one of riches and romance, spice trading and piracy, colonialism, and ultimately, growth into one of Asia's greatest success stories. Temples, mosques and churches stand as serene reminders of the varied migrations that have graced its history. Discover the mansions and polo greens of colonial Singapore, the mystique of Chinatown, and the heady aroma of spices along Arab Street.

Day 18 Singapore - Disembarkation

Upon disembarkation, enjoy a worry-free private transfer from Singapore port to the airport
